Would you please keep us posted as to your security check status? I'm
in the same situation.

Our SF AOS interview was in late December/03. We're still waiting for the security check. Others on Candle For Love have been waiting more than 6 months after their interviews for their clearance.

would be interested in hearing about more SF experiences.

Hi
When was you finger print done and whats your I-485 reciept date?
My reciept date is June27 '03 and FP date is July10 '03.May be they
send
approval notices based on how long I-485 has been pending.I am
thinking of going in person or probably send a letter requesting
status check.

Hi,

We had our interview on Dec. 2,2003 but we didn't get the stamp pending security checks and they had to redo my husband's fingerprints because the original ones were not processed. However, we received his approval letter mid January and the actual green card on Feb 2, 2004.

Hope you hear something soon

Cheers,

Kat and Chris

Hi Kat and Chris
Is it possible to go to the same office where the interview was
held(Room2000) to check status? After how long did you get your
notice to redo the finger prints? Any idea what goes on during these
security checks? Thank you for your reply
