30 November 1999 - Arrived, Orlando, Florida (for an extra honeymoon)then
travelled to Maine.

post to Vermont Service Center.
11 October 2001 - Postal Service returns stamped green slip to show delivery.
23 November 2001 - Check cashed by VSC.
28 November 2001 - Received a Notice of Action from the VSC dated 18 November that
states 'Your alien card is extended 1 year-employment and travel authorized.
Processing your form will require a minimum of 30 days. If you have not heard from us
within 12 months, then you may contact this office."
10 May 2002 - Received Notice of Removal of Conditional Basis of Lawful Permanent
Residence, from Vermont. This states 'Your request for the removal of the conditional
basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a
lawful permanent resident of the United States as of the date of your original
admission or adjustment of status.'
We live in the very far north of Maine, and have to make a trip to Portland, Maine
(about eight hours by car), to obtain the new card.
Will happily answer any questions that anyone going through 'this' might like to ask.
