Time line for I-130 & I-129F for China wife.
My wife and I were married Oct. 15, 2003 in Beijing.
Our I-130 was recieved by BCIS Nov. 13 and of course it takes forever
for that to process.
Our I-129F for a spouse was received Dec. 8, 2003 and the notice date
is Dec. 9.
Our I-129f for a spouse was approved March 10, 2003 and sent to the
NVC.
It has been with the NVC ( I guess) since March 10, 2003. We wait now
for a notice from the NVC that the petition has been sent to the
consulate in China.
AND THE WAIT GOES ON
Thanks to all who I gleaned info from in the past.
A little advice: read every word of the instructions on each of the
forms you need to use. It is all there. For instance the formula for
the sponsorship requiremen--- if when you plug in all that you have
it comes up within the requirement then you have enough. Keep in mind
that a sum in a savings account can adjust your bottm line a lot. Try
it on paper. If you are short plug five hundred into the equation and
see it that makes it for you. If not try six hundred. Redo the
equation until you find the right amount and then get a second job
until you have that amount.

Congrats on the NOA2. It's time to move on to sites that deal specifically with US/China issues. BExpats is a great place for info about starting the process or doing AOS, but dealing with the consulate in GZ is a whole different ball game. Take a look at:
http://candleforlove.com You'll find a lot of info about the process you are now in and will be going through. Good Luck!
