Default Time line for Cond. Perm. Res ???

Does there exist a website that lists the current waiting times (approx) required to get at least a conditional perm resident green card after entering the US on a K1 visa.

A few potential employers have asked me this question and it would be helpful if I could give them a reasonably accurate answer.

Thanks,
Niall

To get GC maybe up to 2 years ..but you just need the EAD and SSN to allow you to work about 90days after your marriage

Is an EAD also known as a 'conditional' Green card ?. I ask as quite a number of jobs in my industry require either cititzenship or a green card.

You can find the processing dates here:

https://egov.immigration.gov/graphic...sp?textFlag=N#

Personally, after seeing Miami go back in time a year and a half for the AOS processing, I wouldn't trust these dates as far as I could throw them. Just another example of the inconsistancies of these people.

No! an EAD is an Employment Authorization Document

In your neck of the woods you won't get the GC for about 2 years
Conditional or otherwise.
