Terribly worried.
Hello all,
If I could get some help, I would be eternally grateful.
My fiance and I are going through the K1 application process. We sent our paperwork off October 31st of this year.
We still haven't gotten our first NOA (which makes me a bit nervous)....but they cleared our check.
My fiance is coming here from the UK for Christmas to see me. He'll be here for almost a month.
Someone told me it is likely he'll be turned away and sent back to the UK....
Is that true??????

Your Application Receipt Number should be on the back of your cleared check - three letters followed by 10 numbers - Texas uses SRC but I don't know what Nebraska uses. You can use that to check the status of your case online: https://egov.immigration.gov/graphic...d=ctjztvWRhew_
He will not be turned away if he can show that he is coming as a tourist and that he will return to the UK as promised. If they think he is coming here to stay, then of course they will not admit him. People have done it - search the other postings of the board and benefit from their experiences.
