Default temporary work permit, advanced parole, medical exam etc. for AOS

my approved I-130 finally arrived!
it has been 4 years... it arrived after 2 letters to the responsible
congressperson. Many thanks to Sylvia at this point...

I have a question with regard to the filing of I-485.

I intend to file the I-485 with supplament (4 years overstay ;-).

Can I get the temporary work permit while my application is pending? I
am working as a self-employed already and paying taxes. My employer
gave me the 1099misc. the last two years. ss# number is valid, but was
stamped 'not valid for employment' back in 1988.

I want to travel. Gee!!! it has been 4 years since my last trip. After
that just four years of commute to work. no vacation, no nothing ;-).
Am I eligible for advanced parole? Do I file I-131 for that?

With regard to the medical exam, do I send it in along with the AOS
paperwork?

Do I have to send in the biographical sheet as well?

Anything else that I am missing?

Thanks and Have a Nice Thanksgiving!!!

How did you orginally enter?
On what basis was the I-130 filed?
Why wasn't the I-485 + others filed at the same time?
Have you accumulated +180 days of overstay (probably)?
The AOS supplement is only applied under special circumstances (none of which you wrote here).

Your AOS looks a bit out of whack from what you wrote here (don't find any earlier posts from you) so on the face, yes, you look to be missing a lot.

I am a child of an american citizen, over 21. Approved petition filed
on Nov14th, 2000 just arrived. I overstayed 4 years, 'means I entered
on a visa waiver (I-94) in Oct 2000. I was present in US in December
2000. From what I know, that is the requirement. Isn't it?

As of now, I can file for AOS on the basis of 245i, correct?
Pay the penalty and so on, right?

But I do not know for example, whether to send the med. exam along
with I-485 paperwork.
Also, work permit and travel document. Will I be able to get it before
my AOS is thru?

Thanks.

Apologies, I've been reading too many marriage-based questions. I'm sorry that I do not have an answer for you, other than 'ask your lawyer'.

Sylvia?! Are you still around.

I do not not know whether you remember...
Anywayz, your advice to write the congressperson payed off.

I just have a few questions with regard to the filing procedures for AOS.

If you don't mind, please look at my questions above.
I would appreciate your knowledgable advice.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!
