So following an informal chat with immigration attorney in regards to AP and esta

If AP is due to a request for further documentation/more evidence then most likey the esta will be approved.

If AP is due to DOS background checks most likely esta will be denied. (Seems this is my case)

However a denied esta should not effect an immigrant visa application. Customs & Border consider the visa to hold much more weight than an esta

Tomorrow will be 7 weeks but they have had it since the interview as mentioned before.

I've decided to leave it with the consulate until it is done

8 weeks of AP today

Wish somebody at dos would make a decision that they are not finding anything about me that is a problem

8 weeks is really nothing compared to some people, I have seen people on here that have 8 months of AP.

Hi guys

So called DOS again after 64 days of AP

The two previous times I have called they said it was pending but this time they said its awaiting final approval in London. Is this the same thing just them being more specific this time?

Basically, it's still pending. You still won't know when it's finished until they notify you of such.

Im nearing on 3 months, I have totally accepted it is not going to happen anytime soon

My medical was 29th Jan 2013

When will this expire? Will the consulate advise me to do it again ? Just over 3 months of AP for me now
