Default Supporting evidence for I-129F?

Hi again,

My fiance and I are busily getting the papers together for the visa petition, and I
was wondering about the extent of supporting information required for the
application. I am in the US at the moment, but have to go back to Australia next week
and we're hoping to get all of this together before I leave. We have sent over a
thousand emails back and forth since I was last in the US and dozens of letters too.
Since including all the emails would be impractical, would it be ok just to include
copies of all the letters I sent her? All the letters she sent me are back home in
Australia, as well all the phone bills aside from one (which I have with me). We are
pretty much ok as far as photos go and rest goes, but I just wanted to be sure about
including evidence of correspondence. If necessary, we might be able to wait until I
get home (although we're itching to get started!) and I can send her the copies of
letters and stuff that she sent me.

Thanks, Andrew

why not send copies of a couple letters that you sent her, as well as a few e-mails
you sent her? You don't need a lot of evidence at this point from my understanding -
the interview is where this will be most important (though it seems that few
interviewers request the evidence)

Send copies of a few emails, letters, phone bills, and pictures. Pictures are very
important because they prove that you have met within the past two years, which is
waht they mainly want to verify.

Best of luck,

same here with all of the emails and saved chats.

I didn't send any of that thouth. What I sent was 3 color copies of photos of us
together, copies of flight itiniaries, a color copy of my passport with a canada
stamp that synced with the flight itiniaries. And then a copy of a phone bill from
last year and of one from the same month that I sent my paperwork. that was it

My fiancé and I sent our I-129-F in while I was in the USA too. Just an extra
suggestion to add the already great ones...Do you still have your boarding passes
from your trip to the USA? I photo-copied my boarding passes, my itenerary and my
ticket receipt and sent that in. It meets the burden to show that you have met each
other in person.

Thanks for the advice. I still have my boarding passes and tickets for this trip. I'm
not sure if I still have the ones from my work trip last year though. I'd expect just
these and the itinery/passport stamps would be fine.

Regards, Andrew

When I sent my I-129F all the evidence was mine: my phone bills (he had thrown his
away once they were paid), emails to me (he always deleted emails once he read them),
my pictures (he still doesn't own a camera), my boarding pass, etc. Must be fine,
because he has his Green Card now. Take Care. Shelley

Hey Andrew,

As for proof of relationship - I sent in 2 pictures of my fiance & I together...about
4 or 5 emails...and copies of 2 "i love you/miss you" cards. And a statement from my
fiance answering question #19 on the I-129 form regarding how we met.

We were approved 3/13/02. So, obviously, that was sufficient info.

Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK to you!

~jennifer
