We sent the DS230 part 1 and the Checklist in on October 17,2009 to London and we haven't received the interview letter yet. Others that submitted around the same time seem to be receiving their letters. I'm stressing out because our one year deadline of having the I-130 approved is quickly approaching.

I've already phone the phone number in Washington DC and the helpline in Scotland and I've been told they have received our packet 3 but I'm just hoping we receive our interview letter soon.

What "one year deadline" is that? You've been actively pursuing your visa application.

The I-130 was approved in November 2008 and I'm just worried that if they don't process packet 3 soon that we may have to reapply. I know that the forms were submitted within the one year time frame but stupid me didn't get a proof of delivery so I have nothing to prove that we did. I'm just worried I guess.

I can't understand why you are waiting so long for a response from the Consulate. Have you e-mailed them? Have you written them? Perhaps resent the paperwork a second time?

Sorry, I may have written it a little misleadingly. We were approved in November 08 but didn't submit Packet 3 until October 09, it's only been 5 weeks since Packet 3 was submitted but I've been reading about others that submitted around the same time and they have received their interview letter. I did try emailing again but only received the deleted without being read email response.

If we don't hear by Monday, I think we'll call the Scotland number again and try to get a reference number to email the Consulate.
