Default Still no appointment date...

Just an update for anyone who is interested. Lagos has had our case in their system since March 2nd and they have yet to send the packet or set a interview date... I think this is where things begin to get BUMPY... breath in breath out...

Did you ask them how long it usually takes?
Have you confirmed with Lagos that Lagos actually has this info?

Yes I did ask, the answer... we are busy blah blah, we have many petitions blah blah as soon as we can get to it blah blah.. basically no answer as to how long we can expect to wait.

Yes, I spoke to the counsulate officer and it was confirmed that they received our file and it was in their system as of March 2, 2004. My senator is looking into it now. I just got a letter from him today. I doubt it will help move things along and quicker, but we may get an answer to how long we can expect to wait.

I do know that usually once they receive the petition the interview date is set for at least two months later. Reason 7 million 4hundred thritytwo why we would like them to set the darn date! Last person behind us in the processing has a date of June 10th.. I can just imagine when ours will be!
