Default status change J1-GC When does legal stay start after I apply for Green Card?

I entered US with J-1 visa without 2-year rule about two years ago.
Here I accidentally met my current husband and we got married one
month ago. Now my J-1 status will expire on the end of this month. I
already finished my medical check-up etc, so we will apply for Green
card with I-130,I-485,I-864,I-131,I-765,G-325A immediately. My concern
is that my J-1 will expire soon, so time lag between J-1 expiration
and I-130 approval. When is legal stay in US considerd to start after
we apply for Green Card? Just after we mail our
documents(I-130,I-485)or when USCIS withdraw the money from our bank
account or when we receive the notification of approval?
We will appreciate any information you would give us.
Thank you.
