I bloody hope not, coz ours weren't!!!!!!!!! I'll be watching this thread. It's been 45 days so far for approval for my man and I, so I'm praying we won't get an RFE. Another question for anyone who can help. Should I get more letters of intent for the London side of this? If so, would I take them to the interview, or send them to the embassy?

I hope not too because ours sure weren't! Seriously though, the guidelines say nothing about them being notarized that I am aware of.
Kate, my Pete had me send him another letter of intent dated mid-November for his interview. I don't know if it's required, but it wouldn't hurt. Now if the TSC will just get on the stick and send me that 2nd NOA so he can schedule the interview!
Cheers,
Leslie

Got that right, Leslie!! Hurry up TSC!!!!!!! Thanks for the tip. I may as well get Corey to send me another letter. The worst they could do is say they don't want it, and I'm sure I'll get over that, given time!! Heh heh!!

Kate, I sent Pete a packet last week of all the stuff he needs from me for the interview. The package weighed a pound and a half! AAAAAAAACK! I am soooooo sick of all this paperwork and everyone keeps telling me it is only the beginning.
Cheers!

Leslie, what did you send to Pete for his interview? Just thought I'd compare notes with someone who's going through the same SC/embassy. I just tried to PM you to save this thread growing to astronomical proportions, but I couldn't send one. If you wanna PM me to let me know what you sent, and maybe leave your email addy? It really helps to talk to people who're going through the same thing.
Cheers, m'dear!!!

P.S: Sorry, William. We still haven't managed to answer your question.

No. There is no magic in notarization. About the only thing that has to be notarized in the process are the I-134 and I-864.

Re: Statement of intent
The letter of intent does not need to be notarized. And to be on the safe
side bring one from each of you to the London Embassy. They did not ask
Clive for his, but he had them just in case. This is just my advice based on
what we did and we were approved no problems. Hope this helps some.....
