spouse visa question
Hi everyone,
Not sure if anyone can answer this, but here goes!
My American husband and I were planning on going to live in the US and I have my visa appointment at the US embassy in London next wednesday.
I am now considering applying for a better job over here in the UK which would mean a much better wage so we are now thinking that we should stay here if I get offered it.
What I need to know is where does that leave me with the US visa? I know I have 6 months to land in the US, but what if I then return to the UK to take up this job? Does the visa just become void? It would be such a shame to lose the visa after all this trouble I've gone to getting it - if my husband and I later change our mind in a few years and decide to go to the US after all, will my application for another visa be frowned upon since I have applied before?
Any advice on this would be much appreciated!

If you don't plan on maintaining US residency, don't get the visa, as
your description sounds like you would get the visa then abandoneed it.

Re: spouse visa question

you are married to an american citizen,...PERIOD.
nothing else matters,..
as far as having them "frown upon" future visas,.. don't worry,..
the immigration people are the same as you and I,.. only slower,..?
I mean,.. they are human beings,.. and if anything,.. your hesitancy proves
your sincerity/honesty,..
just explain,..?
