Default sponsoring... whit lots of questions.

Im an american citizen but never lived in USA. I married 10 years ago
in mexico, and I have now 2 sons (6 and 7 years). I'm planing moving to
USA, but don't want to stay away from my family long time and hope they
can come whit me ASAP

What Should I do? What should I spect? Can they travel to USA as
tourist and stay whit me while an innmigrant visa is issued?

thanks a lot in advance.

For what I have understood, if you are a US citizen, yes.

Really?

Presumably the children are USC's and would be travelling on a US passport.

Your wife, assuming not a USC would need a Visa, K3/CR1. See www.visajourney.com for a good FAQ on the process.

You also need to be resident in the US to Sponsor them, so you will need a US address of some sort.

I trust you have been filing your taxes whilst abroard.

There is a lot more, but the FAQ is a good base.

I got the impression that her children do not have US passports; otherwise why would the OP see a need to have them enter the US as tourists and go through an immigration process? So the first thing presumably would be to get them registered with the US Enbassy in Mexico and then obtain passports for them.

Not sure why the OP would have to be resident in the US to sponsor her husband. Can't they do consular processing in Mexico?

Here is the website for the US Consulate: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/

[But where are Matt and Mr F when we need them?]

Who knows if you'll ever come back, but if you never lived in the US, you can not transmit US citizenship to your children. You can find the details at uscis.gov under Naturlaization, and then Children.
You don't necessarily have to be away from your family for a long time.

I am wondering troll.

A couple of posts recently that seem to fall into that category. Just enough to wet the appetitie...
