You, as the USC spouse, will be your husband's sponsor. One of your parents will be a joint sponsor. The terms aren't interchangeable! Like I said... every day brings something new!

Yes, sorry I should have typed they'll be helping by being joint sponsors!

For the amount of people in the household, right now it is just my father and mother. When looking at the poverty line Would it be for three (my parents + my husband)?

But they won't both be helping by being joint sponsors. There can only be one joint sponsor per immigrant, so only one parent will be a joint sponsor.

The joint sponsor will count his/her own household size plus the immigrant.
