Hi all,
I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for the K1 Visa and had a few questions
about filling it out.
1. On the I-134 Affidavit of Support, Item 10 asks 'That I have submitted visa petition(s)
to the Immigration and Naturalization Service on behalf of the following person(s). If
none, state none.' So does the K1 Visa I am filling it out for count?
2. On the I-134 Affidavit of Support, Item 11 is to 'specify contributions to the support
of the person named in item 3.' Do I need to fill this out for the '90-day period' that
my fiancee stays with me before marriage?
3. On G-325A, you are asked for your last address outside of the US. I have seen examples
done where the fiancee blanks this out. Does my fiancee blank this out, or does she put
in her current address?
4. On the I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancee, Item 17 asks for your fiancee's name written
out, if her native alphabet is other then Roman letters. Since my fiancee is from
Australia, and her name uses Roman letters, do I enter 'N/A' in this line, dash it out,
or something altogether else?
Thanks for the help. If you need more info to answer a question let me know.
Thanks, Kelley Rogers.

My fiancee listed her current place of residence.

Yes, write "N/A" in the space if applicable.

Bottom line is to never leave any blank spaces. Fill empty spaces with "N/A" or "NONE" as
specified. I didn't have any problems (RFE or RFI) with any of my applications (I-129F,
G-325A, I-134).
Do not sign (notarize) the I-134 until your fiance has the interview appointment date. Try
to keep everything on the I-134 up to date till the very last minute.
Good luck Chris JT

are you able to get to australia? if so, have you seriously considered going there,
getting married, and filing for an i-130 directly at the consulate? it's faster and your
spouse enters the us as a permanent resident, so you skip a lot of the ins paperwork.

sine | deb even if you have to stretch to get there, it's worth it
