simply question
I am reading and reading about K1/K3 visas...getting confused by the
minute. My fiance lives in Pittsburgh and I am a Canadian Citizen. We love
each other dearly, and want to be together. So, we are looking into the
options available, is it possible that I can just moved down there and live
with him and not have to marry him. (Nothing wrong with marriage, but both
of us have been through that before) I would also want to work there too.
Can anyone help on this.
I just dont understand...why i cant move there and live with him...just
because two people love each and want to send the rest of their lives
together, why they have to get married...guess that piece of paper means
alot to some. If i was rich ...i could, but i need to get a job.

US law or for that matter most countries' laws don't recognize a live-in
arrangement. If the relationship is that meaningful, you get married in order
to immigrate or not at all...
