Or I think it's simple, anyway. :-)
Once a person enters the U.S. on a K-3 visa, can they apply for Adjustment
of Status immediately, or do they have to wait for the I-130 to be approved?

Hi. I have file my I130, I485 & I765 all together. Just got the notice
of action. Also you can go this site, which is proven to be helpful
with K visas and other: www.visajourney.com

The person may his or her I-485 immediately at the district CIS office
with jurisdiction over his place of residence together with a fee
receipt for the I-130, though in some instances it may be simpler just
to file a new I-130, rather than suffer the delays involved with the
local district office digging the original I-130 out of the RSC it was
filed in.
