Is she in trouble ?
Hello ! I hope someone can help with this. My friend came this year in the U.S. with a J1 visa . Meantime she applied for a change of status , but she stepped wrong ...by working over the day printed on the DS. Will that create her trouble in getting the change of status approved ? Will INS notice that ? Or it's only IRS that will find out once she'll file the tax return ?

This may come to light when she applies for a Green Card. At that time her
entire immigration history will be scrutinized.
