Default Separated, Filing I-751, Remove Condition on Residence

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine needs to file the I-751 form, and he and his wife are separated. He's put together all of his paperwork, showing that they lived together for 1.5 years in the U.S. before separating, that they own a vehicle jointly, that they had a shared bank account, vehicular insurance, and he has several affidavits from friends declaring that they had a bona fide relationship.

Any advice on what else immigration wants to see or how to go about this?

Or links to other similar threads?

Also he's within the 90 day window when he needs to file. His 2 year Conditional Residence Visa expires in September.

Thanks in advance,
Huacheetah

You need to get him an immigration lawyer, since he can't speak for himself.

Waiver applications usually use a lawyer, since a rejection will mean he has to leave the US - I would advise at least a consult.

Are they divorced?
Are they legally separated?
Are they still married but just living at separate addresses?
Are they working on the marriage?
