Default self employed question

Is anyone out there self employed? I would like to hear from someone that has submitted Affidavit of support I-134 as a self employed person and if there is any advice that might help .From what i can see there is not much difference except submiting tax forms and copies of bank deposits. I am a self employed contractor for several insurance companies so am not actually employed as an employee. I have more than enough income showing on my last 3 years tax returns.

I am self-employed too. At the interview for a fiancee visa my fiancee and I submitted everything that was asked for. (tax return and bank statements). The interviewer also wanted some evidence of current employment. Luckily we had a copy of my local and state business licenses for the current year. She accepted that as evidence of current employment.

I was fully self-employed when I did the I-134, so I sent the income information, bank deposit information, 3 years tax returns, and a copy of my current bar registration showing that I was licensed and in active standing in California as an attorney. Since my 2002 was a tiny bit short on the numbers (gotta love contingent work) I also sent asset information as well.

I sent most recent tax return (2002), *actual copies* of most recent
bank statements (Georgia and Michigan accounts) at the time of filing,
plus copies of most recent brokerage statements. I was concerned that my
checking accounts would not show enough income (as I only keep enough in
there to pay bills) and my atty. suggested to submit documents that show
*total net worth*, and he reviewed what I sent and said I was OK in this
area and USCIS would take those.
