Default Seeking I-129F advice

I'm ready to file the I-129F and I-134 applications in order to get the
fiancé visa process moving and would appreciate any helpful advise from
others who have experienced the process recently.

My fiancé and I personally met last summer at her home in the Philippines
and I have received all the documents from her I believe I need to file. I
would love to hear from anyone who has recently been through the process
with a Filipino fiancée, nothing could be more helpful than gaining the
experience of someone who has completed this process.

She is a widow and has provided me with certified copies of her birth,
marriage, and late husband's death certificate.
I live in Texas and will be going through the Texas processing center so any
experiences with them, timelines, causes of delay, etc I can find out about
upfront will help.

Some of my questions are:

How long does it take to get the Visa through the Texas processing center?

How many copies of the I-134 and supporting documentation do I need? The
instructions say to submit it in duplicate, but how many?

What if any additional supporting documentation will the consulate in the
Philippines require?

Both my fiancée and myself, though patient, are anxious to get the visa
process moving after waiting through several months of delay getting her
certified documents together, but finally we have them. We're both in our
40's and hope to marry before we're old and gray!

Ok Bare, you haven't been getting quite the information you need, me thinks. For your first question, it takes awhile to get through Texas on an I-129f petition. I filed the I-129f on Aug. 8th, and we finally got approved on Jan. 2nd - about 150 days or so.

For your second question, you don't need any copies of the I-134 to send in with the I-129f petition. At this stage, it is not necessary. The I-134 must be given to your fiancee before she goes for her interview at the US Embassy in the Philippines. So, given the current processing times, I'd say you don't have to even think about the I-134 for the next 3 or 4 months. I did not fill out the I-134 for my fiance until we had gotten approved in Jan.

The following are the docs that we submitted with the I-129F petition (we may have sent more, I can't remember everything now):

-Cover letter telling which visa is being filed for and a list of the package contents
-I-129F
-Supplemental page explaining the circumstances of how we met
-G-325 biographical forms (a set of 4 pages for you and for her - total of 8 pages)
-ADIT photo of USC and foreign fiance (1 each)
-Letter of Intent to Marry from USC and foreign fiance (1 each)
-Witness statements from friends and family that we have met and are in a relationship
-Pictures of the two of us together
-Boarding Pass stubs for proof of being in the same country
-Hotel receipts
-Other invoices/receipts to prove the relationship

We have no previous marriages so those papers weren't necessary for us, but will be necessary for you.

Hope that cleared a few things up for you! It may seem like a long and daunting process right now, but we just received our K1 visa yesterday so there is a light at the end!

Bfm,

To what instructions do you refer? The I-129f does not require that an I-134 accompany it.

"in duplicate" means two.
