Saints Be Praised!! I-751 Approval

Hello folks!

It's been a long time. I think I'm just overwhelmed with busy busy busy and all things online have sort of flown by the wayside. Hope everyone's well.

Anyhow, after receiving just a month ago an NOA that told us to check our mail in 331 days for a decision about Dekkie's application to remove conditions, imagine how we felt when in today's mail was the following news:

Thank you! Now if I can just figure out why my post posted twice and how to delete the extra one, I'd be golden =)

WEIRD! I was just thinking the other day, "I wonder whatever happened to Dekka's Angel, she was always so helpful and made such great posts." Funny, innit? :)

Congrats!! Your I-751 is not too much before ours (April 27th), so your news is encouraging. What service center did you go through? (We did VSC)

Hope to see you posting a bit more!!

You're already golden, but contact a mod to delete the other thread.....:)

Congratulations on the approval. We'll be sending Mr. Pink's in at the start of October, so not too much longer. Hope it goes as quickly as yours!

In your duplicate (which I didn't want to reply to in case it doesn't get
back to BE), you mentioned San Jose, etc..

Seems like I'm almost 13 months behind you:
GC on 4/19/05.
I-751 will be filed around 4/1/07 (maybe 3/1/07 - depends on when I get tax
records for '06 back from IRS).

Good to hear the San Jose office turned this around in two months! Here's
hoping they don't slow down too much more in the next year!!

Are D & A filed out of CSC? i am under the impression that it takes longer than 2 months for CSC applicants, wrong?

MH, I-751s are processed by the Service Centers, unless they refer them to the DO for an interview.
:)

That was the one weird thing about the letter. At the bottom it referenced the San Jose office. We of course filed at the CSC in Laguna Niguel. More puzzling, the last time I checked (back during our interview process for the original AOS) our office is San Francisco due to our location in the Bay Area. As best as I can figure, maybe the Laguna Niguel people referenced the wrong office on the bottom; maybe they have some sort of local deal where all I-751 interviews are now being done in San Jose; I dunno and definitely don't care (I did, however, verify the envelope and enclosures just to make sure). I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, either way. 2 months beginning to end was a dream come true. It made up for a lot.

If I ever get dug out from work, I hope to begin posting again as well! Good luck on your wait and hope it is not too much longer!
