RFE:Request Further Evidence.. How long after that?!
I have a question..
A month after recieving our first NOA on Sept, INS sent my american
fiancee a RFE requesting further evidence on his US citizenship. They
asked him for another copy of his birthcertificate, eventhough he's
sent one on the package.
He sent the copy immediately and INS sent a confirmation that they
received it.
Does anyone know why do they ask you this, eventhough there's one copy
sent on the package already? Is it only to take more time on the
process? Can't they make copies themselves?
And any estimates on how long do we need to wait after this for our
2nd NOA?
