Default RFE after 205 days at Nebraska ..

Hi guys

I'm just looking for sympathy today! On October 8 the online status
showed that and RFE has been posted to my sweetie, Sean in Minnesota.
We were so sure that we had done everything correctly. I am praying
that it will be something easy to resolve, as we have been waiting
sooooooo long. I hope it arrives tomorrow so we can both get working
on whatever it is they want.

Love

Oh Cait.that is soooooooooooo bad. My heart goes out to you.
I hope it is some really simple thing that has a speedy solution.
Keep in mind the possible helpfulness of Senator Mark Dayton and Senator
Norman Coleman.
We went to Senator Paul Wellstone but sadly Coleman took his senate seat
when Wellstone died.
good luck,

Most RFE's do seem to be process quickly. And from what I've read in this NG yoiu may be submitting something they already have anyway. Sometimes they ask for things that make no sense but I imagine there is a method behind them.

Annie>>> It is just a way to Lord over everyone. My fiance had his interview in
Saudi back in April, and was denied a visa. They wanted more info, including a
divorce decree (they do not routinely issue such things in Pakistan) and he had
to make another trip there to get some sort of paper. I also needed to submit
other [financial] papers and he sent in all they asked for and stillmore than
three months later, no word from the Embassy except that the file is on
someone's desk. We wait and wait and it is starting to destroy the relationship
we have had for two and a half years.
What do we do if he is denied the visa again, or if they allow the deadline
of one year to pass and do not issue a visa.
What are our options? Can we go the K-3 route? Or do I have to leave my
kids, family and country?
We don't have the money for Lawyers just to possibly end up the same way
again. Having a Lawyer is no guarantee a visa will be issued.
