Return of original docs?
 

Oh, lord.. I think I may have made a(nother) mistake.. Our documents are with NVC, and I've just realised I need my marriage certificate to do my son's report of birth (and subsequently, his US passport). Can anyone tell me when we get our original docs back? Is it at the interview, or not until visa is issued? As my husband will have to do an I-601, the visa could be a long time coming (and I had considered going over with the kids before him, if necessary).:unsure:
Ok, so I guess the docs would be returned by courier if the visa was issued, but if a waiver is applied for, then what?

Okay, panic over. Stand down. Just discovered how easy it is to get another marriage certificate.
