Default Requirements for Naturalization?

So, if you go the Naturalization route do you have to notify the INS
of any change in residency after you submit your application? Does
changing state void your application at all? Also, are you allowed to
leave the US upon applying for Naturalization? etc

Anybody recommend an immigration lawyer in Chicago?

Default Re: Requirements for Naturalization?

1. Need to inform USCIS of any change of
address so USCS can send interview,
fingerprint etc. letters to the correct address.

2. Relocating to a different state is
not a problem. Need to inform
USCIS of the new address. If the
new state falls under a different service center,
USCIS wil transfer the application.
For example, if someone living in Georgia
files N400 in Texas Service Center, later
relocates to California and then informs
of the address change, Texas service center will transfer the application to
California Service Center.
3. Making short overseas trips after
filing N-400 is not a problem. Just talk to
an attorney if you have any special
situation.
