removal of conditions a success!
My conditions on my residency were approved yesterday and the new card is on it's way. No interview or extra evidence required, just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on here that helped me. I really appreciate it, back in 2013 (and long before when I was naïve and thought anyone could sign up for a work visa) I had no idea what I was doing or how to go about it. so yeah, thanks guys your knowledge and time is very appreciated!

Congratulations. How long did that take? Did you also file an N-400?

Great news. In over 21 years of using this forum, I've only seen 2 cases that required an interview. So glad you weren't one of them.

Thanks! we filed in December 2017 so roughly 15 months. No I didn't file an N-400, I kinda just wanted to get things all done and dusted so I wouldn't have to think about it anymore and also I believe that you have to go to more interviews and stuff if you file for citizenship. That's not really something I want to deal with anytime soon.

I was pretty confident in our case, we had lots of evidence and have been together since 2008. I mean, the immigration officer at the conditional resident interview said 'well you guys are obviously not lying' and we received a text message about 20 minutes after that interview approving me, So I was reasonably relaxed about it. My wife on the other hand had delved a bit too much into social media and would have freak outs where she thought ICE were gunna kick in the door and drag me away claiming immigration fraud ha ha
