Default Received Welcome to America letter!

Hi

My son and I today received our Welcome to America letter just 4 weeks after out IR1 interview! I thought it would be a proper letter but it looks just like the other NOA's we received. Still no green card yet, the letter says it will take around 3 more weeks. Nice to get an official welcome though!

LOL, I posted this from work during the day. I just got home, and Sadegh's Welcome Letter was in the mailbox today. Four mailing days after the AOS interview.

Thanks everyone. Rene, glad to hear Sadegh has received his letter too. It's a strange feeling seeing the letter I must admit! I'll let you know when the GC arrives.

Love and best wishes to everyone

You have got to be kidding. It's one thing futzing around on these forums with your horseshit like you have nothing better to do; but advising people to break the law - you should be ashamed of yourself.

I am always amazed at how many fail to do this on receipt of the green

I am happy for you.

How misleading that statement is....do you really think we are all that stupid. Voting can only be legal after one has taken citizenship & not before then!!

ATTENTION: Anyone who read "Retire to Italy"s post (which Peter has quoted in his reponse)....

You can NOT vote once you have your green card!! You MUST be a US Citizen to be eligible to vote.

Retire to Italy - I'm reporting this post to the other Mods.
