Have you checked to see if you have got the 2nd NOA? This has to happen before you will recieve packet 3.
Looking at other peoples time-lines it seems to take about 2-3 weeks after NOA2 to receiving packet 3.

The medical is done on the day of the interview and includes the chest x-ray. I have got all the vaccinations I needed done at my GP's, its a lot cheaper! The interview and medical is done on the same day for the London Consulate and most people seem to be done by about 2pm.

The first letter you got back was basically a receipt notice. You get another once Missouri have actually processed the I-129f. At the moment thats seems to be taking roughly a month from the date you get on the first letter. The file then gets further processing at NVC and is then sent to London.

This is a link for the vaccinations
http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web...ccinechart.htm
My GP gave me a letter on which they listed the vaccinations and the date I'd had them.
Might be an idea to have a read on the London Embassy web-site too....

I bumped your previous thread up.. that explains a lot regarding the medical.

As for the time process.. sounds like you probably have a ways to go! It's different for some people than others. Someone that sent in there 129f petition 3 weeks after me already has there k-3 in hand.. where as we are still waiting for our k-3 interview.

Here's a quick reference:

File I-130
File I-129f (after rec'ing receipt for I-130)

You will receive a 1st NOA for the I-129f (this is probably where you are at

Next you will receive a 2nd NOA for the I-129f (this is sent to the USC)

After the 2nd NOA the MSC will forward your petition to the NVC (Nat'l Visa Center) for name and background checks. This can stay here for 1 - 90 days (Most US/UK petitions are in and out w/in a week)

After that the NVC sends your case to the American Embassy in London. Then and only then can you start expecting the Packet 3.

BTW your USC fiance can check the online case status to see whether or not your 2nd NOA for the 129f. Good luck!

Best thing for you to do is take the advice in your other thread and go to the various links and research until you get a better grasp on everything.. its very confusing!

Annya,
GO TO THE LONDON EMBASSY WEBSITE~! That has the vaccinations needed etc. Also Rete has a resource post at the top of the thread list here that has sites.
Here is one of them. This should answer some if not all of your questions.

Yes you need one!
Do it as soon as you can as it takes about 40 days to get one. Go to your local police station and they'll give you a form to fill in. You then take it back with some ID and £10, then they send off for it.

Annya every consulate & embassy seems to handle these things differently.

Here in New Zealand for example the medical is not done on the day of the interview. It must be done at least 2 weeks before the interview. My medical took about 10 minutes & then I had to go have a chest x-ray done seperately but that too was quick & painless. I had my blood tests done at the medical & as I was up to date with all vaccinations I didnt have to have any done at the time.

The best thing for you to do is check the website out for the embassy you will be dealing with. You should find all the details there that will help put your mind at ease.
Also if you only have first receipt for your application you still have a little wait ahead of you but once again depending on where you are from that time too can vary.

Goodluck with everything

Cheers
