Question for Sheila
Hi there. Did you guys send the packet with all the checklist stuff before you got your police report (that can take 40 days) or did you wait to get the report before sending the packet back?
Also, Did you have a priority date? If so, did they stick to it? My husband has to be here by October 30th and we already have the plane ticket. We just got Packet 3 last week.
Thanks,
jsv888

Re: Question for Sheila
Hello Jsv
Question number 1: We sent off for the police certificate before we even
sent our I-129f petition off. I believe we got the police certificate back
the same day we sent the petition off. So NO we did not send off the
checklist without having the certificate first.
Question number 2 priority date: We told them that we were getting married
on Aug.30, but they did not schedule Clive's interview until Sept. 3. So
maybe if you put your wedding date for earlier they may accommodate you.
It's worth a try.I do believe they tried we just did not give enough time.
Hope this helps!!!
