I guess you never can tell how things will go.... I think their strategy is pretty realistic and they are coming here with quite a bit of money to invest and live off... they already bought their house.. I guess it's all a matter of how you manage your money. We shall see.

The process for bringing over a parent seems quite straight forward and is one of the easier routes. My husband also had thought about sponsoring his sister but the wait is something crazy, like 12 years!!

I'm not sure why it takes so long but they list relatives in order of priority

So is he also sponsering his parents.
Or do INS have to know they have so much money to support themselves.
