Default Question on EAD

Hi guys,

Just want to ask something. Am I correct in understanding that there are POEs that stamp EAD for K3ers? and if they do, how long would that be valid? I am going via JFK, and if I do get stamped, when should I file for the permanent EAD?

Sorry, but this one really confuses me. Thanks in advance for your quick replies.

God bless.

I believe that it's only K-1 holders who *may* receive the work authorization stamp at POE. The stamp, if they receive it is good for 90 days (the validity of the K-1), K-3 holders must apply for an EAD to work but on the plus side the K-3 is multiple entry valid for 2 years, whereas K-1 is single entry only.
