Just wanted to point out to the OP, that he keeps mentioning a K visa....but unless he wants a bigger hassle, he shouldn't go for the K-3 visa. He'll want to go for the CR-1/IR-1 Immigrant Visa, which is what follows from his USC wife filing the I-130.
