My husband received his k-3 visa last month. He is still scared about living
in America and leaving his family and friends. He is planning a trip to
America in December for 2 weeks. We are either going to end it, or stay
together. If we do
plan on staying together, it may be a few months before he can live here with
me. He owes a bank loan and his job and he doesnt want to leave without paying
them back. He said he wants to make sure everything is in order in case he
does decide to stay with me. I know he loves me very much. In fact, I think
alot of this stems from him being jealous and insecure but thats another story.
We talk almost everynight on the phone for about 2 hours and he does the
calling. I am playing hard to get to make him realise what life would be like
without me. My question is this: Can he use the k-3 to visit me and then come
back 4-5 months later after he pays back his job and his bank loan? I know
this is a 2 year visa but I know it has a few stipulations with it. I don't
know what the future holds for us, but I can only pray that God will give me
strength no matter what the outcome is for us. I also would like to thank Rete
especially for her kindness and understanding through out all of this. You are
a very nice lady, Thank You........

Ever considered not playing mind games? Sounds like he's into them, too.

The K3 is a multiple entry visa, so your husband can go back and forth between the US and his home country.
Since your husband will be spending significant time in his home country, depending on where you are in the I-130 process, you might choose to let the I-130 process run its course and have the interview overseas instead of filing for AOS in the US.
Good luck.
