Hi,

A quick question about the I485 pending status. I was one of those many who took advantage of the July/August rush to get I485's in even though my EB3 Priority Date was Jan 2004.

So now I have my EAD's and Advance Parole documents and resigned myself to a long wait before the 485 itself would actually be approved. The Notice date of the 485 is Aug 10th 2007.

Got my hopes up a bit when the bulletins suddenly lurched forward to Jan 2005 for the EB3's but the Case Service shows that the document hasn't been touched since late August 2007.

I see the Texas Service centre is currently processing I485's dated around April 2007. Do I now wait for the processing date to get to August 2007 before I'll hear anything more ?

It seems that there is more than a little pot luck involved in when your application is processed. Do you know if your I-140 has been approved yet?

Yup fortunately my 140 is approved I had it approved early last year and was waiting for the 485's to reach my processing date when suddenly the July flood gates briefly opened
