Default Question about Affidavit of Support

In the intructions for the I-134 form it states that I need be sworn in under oath in front of an immigration officer. How am I supposed to do this? Where do I find an immifration officer?

I am submitting this Affidavit for my fiance in the U.K

Here is what the intructions say:

I. Execution of Affidavit.
A separate affidavit must be submitted for each person.
You, as the sponsor, must sign the affidavit in your full,
true and correct name and affirm or make it under oath. If
you are in the United States, the affidavit may be sworn to
or affirmed before an immigration officer without the
payment of fee, or before a notary public or other officer
authorized to administer oaths for general purposes, in
which case the official seal or certificate of authority to
administer oaths must be affixed. If you are outside the
United States the affidavit must be sworn to or affirmed
before a United States consular or immigration officer.

Thanks,
Most banks have a notary. Go to your bank and get it notarized

It doesn't have to be an immigration officer or government official?

Thank you,

Don't be so dense. Notice the keyword in your quote: or. So a notary public is just fine. Go to your local bank or look in your phone book for Public Notary and start dialing. Simple as that.
