Default Providing Supporting Documents

Hi All,

I'm am currently in the process of completing my CR1 application. I have now had my medical and booked my interview.

I have seen other threads where people have discussed bringing supporting documents such as photos, letters from family members etc.

Specifically I have a letter from my current employee advising that should my marriage based visa be approved they will happily transfer me to their US located office on a certain salary.

Should this be submitted anywhere beforehand or brought along to the interview?

Thanks!

Assuming that the financial requirements of sponsorship have been met (or you wouldn't be getting an interview!), then there is no need for this letter at all. It's largely irrelevant.

However, it would do no harm to take it with you and, if asked how you're planning on supporting yourself, you could produce it. Highly unlikely, but it will help to cover the bases.

Your letter is irrelevant, because there is no requirement whatsoever to demonstrate that you can support yourself. Indeed, there's no requirement whatsoever that you ever work in the US. That's why your spouse completed an I-864 on your behalf.
