Processing time for a K-1 visa?
Hello,
What's the processing time for a K-1 visa? I live in Alaska and so it
seems I need to file at the BCIS in Nebraska.
All your help is greatly appreciated,
Rob

Right now, four months in Nebraska, then however much time it takes
the Embassy to grant an interview- typically two to four more months.

Re: Processing time for a K-1 visa?
If you have a perfect application... then yes right now the processing time is about 4 months.... However, I suggest you goto to www.visajourney.com and go to the application forum to get the K-1 Step by Step guide for how to put together a perfect application.
However, if you get an RFE, add about 3 minths to the processing time. Right now they are giving an RFE for putting None instead of N/A on some of the petitions that have been going through...
Good luck...
Mike
