I was very upset to find the bulwark in place regarding the routing of
immigration calls within the Consulate in the Netherlands. I was given
a fax number and a 70 eurocent-per-minute number. When one fears
separation from a loved one, panic grips the heart when there is no
living soul to verify procedures for immigration. But be encouraged!
Faxing does work. Within two days of my Friday mid-morning faxed
inquiry, they responded by sending me forms and answering my question
BY MONDAY. Of course, they will always answer questions by the book,
but I was please by the reponse time. It appears (..and I would
expect nothing less) that they are professional and prompt.

I love the Netherlands. ..if only they had Taco Bell..
