Default PR and Naturalization

I received my CPR in March 2005, so it will expire in March 2007. In December this year, I can have my conditions removed and apply for the 10 year PR. Also, in December this year would be our 2 years and 9 months wedding aniversary, time when I could apply for citizenship based on 3 years of marriage. Now, my question is, can I skip all the process for a PR green card and apply for citizenship since I don't need a green card anymore if I become a US citizen?
Thank you!

Date for citizenship start on the date you got the CPR ..the marriage date has nothing to do with it.. apply in December 2007

This is not the case. You can apply for removal of conditions within 90 days of the expiration (the date in March 2007 when it expires). That doesn't sound like it equals December 2006.

Being married a FULL 3 years to the same USC is only part of the requirement.

Now, my question is, can I skip all the process for a PR green card and apply for citizenship since I don't need a green card anymore if I become a US citizen?
No. You can apply for citizenship 3 years minus 90 days from the time you became a PR (either CPR or LPR). From what I can see, you'll be eligible to apply for citizenship sometime in 2008, if you meet all the other requirements.

Seems like you have more research to do...you have a lot of things confused.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Or better yet...January 2008, to make sure it's within 90 days. We don't know the date in March.
