LOL, will do for sure Rete. Don't have any approval yet, but tomorrow @ 8 AM I leave
for Ottawa to grab my medical ahead of time (hoping I don't get any gruff, and that I
can actually go ahead and get it, even tho the only case # I have to give them is the
MSC-XX-XXX-XXXXX number :-/) and I'll post my experience on that as well. Dragging my
17 year old cousin for the ride as he's never been to Ottawa :-)

Looks like you and Roger have been nagging for the better tho, seen a few new recent
updates on the POE rolling list, which is great because I'm tracking the
Detroit/Windsor tunnel for getting an EAD >:-)

I promise that I will soon. I'm currently attending the Michigan Child Welfare
Institute, so that I can begin my new job as a social worker for the state. I have a
two hour drive one-way every day. I leave the house at 6 am and don't get home til
10 pm, so I'm kinda tired out right now. I promise that I'll post our AOS experience
this weekend.

I'll just make a quick note that Mickey and I did the walk-in AOS at the Detroit
office last Friday. We arrived at 4 am and left with his greencard stamp at 1:30 pm.
I'll go into more depth when I post our experience.

I can post something:

filed for I-130 04-22-02 received 1st NOA 05-01-02 Sent Chicago
the I-129F around 05-08-02 Never received 2nd NOA Harassed congressman
and then the senator after driving to Chicago to come back totally empty handed

then on 08-09-02 I received a call from the congressman's
office that sd it was approved. Now we can wait for eternity for the interview in
Moscow and then an actual visa whenever they actually start giving them out!?!

Evan I crossed at Detroit july 2, but used the bridge and received the EAD stamp in
my passport. I have posted my experience, but I don't think I specified it was the
bridge...sorry. Just thought I would let you know it was not a difficult experience
at all. Bonnie "Evan Audette" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected][/q1]

it sounds like it paid off for you to contact your congressman's office on your I-130
application, so who should we contact about the hold up in issueing visas in Moscow?
