I had a question about form I-864P which gives the poverty guidelines.
Let's say I'm interested in sponsoring someone, so our household size
will be 2. According to I-864P, my income has to be greater than or
equal to $14,925 (the "125%" number).
I was wondering if anyone can tell me which line of the US 1040 tax
return must be greater than or equal to $14925... I'm guessing it's
line 22 ("This is your total income"). Sorry if this is annoyingly
obvious- but I want to make sure :-)
Please post to the group.
Thanks..

It is the total income before anything is taken out of it (ie, gross
income)
