Default PLEASE HELP! Concerns regarding EAD!!! PLease someone help us!

Hello Everyone, This group has been wonderful to me and my US citizen wife over the
past year since we started the whole K-1 Visa process..thank you all. I am scheduled
to appear for my EAD interview in the Newark INS next week and have a few questions
as to what the INS wants me to bring:

1. They said that we should bring our proof of filing meaning INS receipts canceled
checks etc--my question is what is the INS receipt? Is this the receipt we
receieve from the INS a couple of weeks after filing for the EAD,which states the
approx time the EAD is expected?

2.Proof of NJ residency is required...well I live with my wife and inlaws in their
home so I dont have a lease in my name...I am still waiting for my drivers license,
but I do have a lerners permit, My question is what do they want us to bring to
prove I am a resident of the state of NJ? I have our marriage license from my NJ
township, I have receieved many letters addressed to me, I have the learner's
permit? Are any of these acceptable?

If anyone knows the answers to these questions or even a vague idea, I would be
extremely grateful for your comments. Thanks again.

right, that's what the INS receipts are (cf Notice of action)

Does your wife have a lease ? The ladlord knows that you live there right ? so maybe
he/she could make a sworn statement about your living there ...

I think his driver's license or learner's permit would also prove it.
