Hi,
I am a Green Card holder, and I will be applying for Naturalization in a few month. I
want to merry a woman, who is in the US on an H-1 visa. Can anyone advise on her
getting her GC in the following scenarios:
1. We get married before I apply for naturalization
2. We get married after I apply, but before I get the Citizenship
3. We get married after I become a Citizen (this will probably take at least 1.5
years, hate to wait that long! -![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks.

As long as her H-1 is good until you are a citizen, it doesn't matter when you
actually get married. In fact, earlier is better because then, once you apply for her
adjustment of status, having been married for a while will look more credible.
