Default Photocopies or Scanned Images

As I am preparing my wife's AOS file, I was wondering if I can used
scanned/printed images of some of the required papers or must I use a
photocopy?

Default Re: Photocopies or Scanned Images

When I applied for AOS / AP / EAD - I didn't "photocopy" anything -
everything that I submitted that was a "copy" was scanned and printed.....
Same with everything that was a "copy" for my I129F - it was all scanned and
printed.
Same difference, I would think, but I've had no problems so far!

Jim,

A photocopier is nothing more than a scanner and a printer in one case. Commercial photocopiers use a laser printing mechanism, while most home units use an inkjet printing mechanism to keep the cost down. The method of collecting the image - the scanner mechanism - is the same.

Except for my UK birth certificate which was too big, I used the scanner for my AOS papers.
