Packet 3 received

Hello all,
My husband received packer 3. From the date of approval (oct 29) it took us less than 15 days to get Packet 3 from the consulate. Now I just hope that the interview will be around the corner. Wow...husband for Christmas...now that is a great feeling.

Smiles,
:)

Right ON!!!!

We just sent off for my hubbys Police clearance and his Birth Certificate. His original from 1960 something is not going to work because it doesn't have a seal. His original packet 3 was missing lots of information from Montreal. Good luck with the medical! Wish I could say my husband passed with flying colours ( I would be corrected if I didn't spell it "correctly"") But he finally got his BP down and received the sealed envelope from the Dr. the day after he received his replacement packet.

Your on your way, And I do hope that both our Husbands "Will Be Home For Christmas".

for gin

hey, figures, I just wiped those 2 timelines off my list as I was shortenning it up..

the police cert took 2 days.. from toronto it was sent overnight on a monday or tuesday as was back by thursday.. so that was speedy.. as long as your record is clear it should be pretty fast.. if it comes back not clear they do a search by fingerprints and this can take a lot longer..

for the long form birth certificate that took about 3-4 weeks in july.. so not sure how fast it would be now.. each province could be different..

good luck to you as well..

Thank you!

Thank you for all the support!!!! My husband has the medical for next wednesday. The police Certificate, he got on the spot from the local police department (w/o fingerprinting). The birth certificate is the only concern....would you guys advise us on submitting the checklist without having all the items immediately, just so that we can get a quicker date?

My husband and I are a bit anxious, what if we do get an interview date and we are missing the birth certificate....most likely we are going to wait for all the items before we submit the checklist.

Does anyone know how long after the submission of the checklist do they give the interview date?

Thanks for all the support....smiles.

We sent for his BC via computer but I found out in that you can get one across the counter in Halifax. Not sure which province your in but check it out . I must have put his RR number instead of his civic address because Vital Statistics emailed me today(4 Bus. Days). So should be sent to him soon.

Police Clearance takes 150 days it says on his query. He also got a clean record locally. He will just take that unless the other comes in before the interview... who knows when that will be.
Let you know how things go. Hoping the Montreal Consulate gets his information he sent . I already email the consulate that it was on the way expost. And what we are lacking.
