Default Packet 3

We received notice from London - US Embassy. It was only a letter but it had the case number (yeah!)

At the bottom, it says Encl: Packet 3.

We had nothing enclosed. Only a regular US Embassy envelope and this one page letter from the Immigrant Visa Branch.

Is Packet 3 actually just the guidance on the webpages that they direct us to review and follow?

This is for CR1.

Yes. The Packet 3 no longer includes the forms, but instead it provides a link to a website for you to go download the forms yourself.

B,

"Packet 3" is obsolete terminology, but old habits die hard.

You are correct, as Rene has already confirmed.

Ha, seems like they'd take off the "Enclosure" postscript off the form letter...

Thanks.
