packet 3
I contacted consulate where my husband's supposed to get his packets sometime in the next couple of weeks [papers still at NVC] and they told me they only send 1 packet to foreign spouse to complete. My question is should I go ahead and mail affidavit of support to my spouse? or should I wait till interview date which is when I plan to attend with my husband? When are docs due? before the interview is set?
thank you

The affidavit of support should be sent to the consulate with the other
paperwork they request when you ask for the interview date. I would send
it to him.

Hi,
The only thing you send back to the consulate is the DS-230 and the checklist. You should have the completed I-864 in your possession, with all necessary documentation, before you return this list.
The documents themselves are ONLY required at interview.

thank you!!
I'll hold on to the I-864 with me until it's time to fly and attend interview with my husband then.
