Here is the instruction and checklist that most of us received from the
consulate in packet 3.

I want to point out that the sheets seem to be the same everywhere. Yet, YOU
MUST READ IT CAREFULLY because they sometimes wipe out some of the words.
For example, the instruction asks not to send the 156, 156k, and 157. The
consulate in Bangkok wiped the word NOT out. So it says:" Do send.........."
This is the kind of unnecessary delay, which may occur. Don't you think that
you would get mad when you don't realize that you did not read it
completely?

Caldaron,
Where does the the instruction sheet say "Do send ... " with regard to OF-156 and OF-156k? (The consulate in Bangkok has not updated its instruction sheet to reference the new DS- form designations.)
In fact, it is not at all clear what one is supposed to do with these application forms, except to not sign them, in the instruction headed "SECOND:". In the iinstruction headed "FORTH:" it says "bring all of the above pertinent documents and the application forms with you to the interview."
And the instruction sheet nowhere mentions DS-157.
Yes indeed Caldaron - "READ IT CAREFULLY".
